The Seed: A Name with Roots

"Jianshan" draws its name from mine—and from the traditional Eastern flower-arrangement tool.

As a child, my family’s sprawling courtyard was my mother’s canvas for blooms. Among those flowers, I learned to name every plant and began shaping my own small arrangements. That courtyard was my first "park," a cradle of growth and memories.

The City and the Soil

When I came to Shanghai, I found parks tucked between skyscrapers—oases where office workers napped under noon sun, where friends gathered on holidays.

I love nature, but I’m bound to the city, too. Its convenience is addictive; its pace, inescapable. Yet when urban pressures tighten their grip, it’s the whisper of leaves I crave. Parks became my bridge between worlds: a place to exhale.

A Park of My Own

Here, I’ve laughed over picnics with friends, lain solo in grass that tickled my neck. A speaker hummed jazz; sunlight pooled like honey; strangers danced badly and didn’t care. These moments—raw, unplanned—were my armor against the city’s grind.

So I built a new kind of park. Not of soil and benches, but of intention: Jianshan Park, a lifestyle brand to carry that balance forward.
